Beltane with The Green Man 2016
Hear Ye, hear ye! The Green Man Beltane Rite is a-coming!
Saturday April 30th , 2016 1:00 pm gather for 1:30pm ritual. $20 cash only.
Once more, our most popular of pagan festival gatherings is upon us!
Come join us and celebrate Beltane with us, not at the store, but at our usual off site Beltane location: a most amazing magical location hidden away in Van Nuys. Because the ritual is offsite, prepayment at the store to reserve your space is required. Address and directions given out with pre-payment.
Come join us, rub up against nature and a few frolicking nature lovers as we turn this year’s Wheel. Come, enjoy Pagan Pole dancing as in Ye Olden Days.
Singe your unspeakables jumping the Beltane Fire! Beat the ground, dance and make merry with bells on! Come frolic with the Green Man family for a good old-fashioned Beltane Rite!
As in recent years, in addition to our regular Beltane activities and potluck, our friends Reclaiming L.A. will be leading us in the Spiral Dance.
But wait…there’s MORE!
We are so happy to welcome back a Magical Musical Voyage into the realm of Celtic Faery with the astounding, delightful and delicious…
Sharon Knight and her longtime collaborator Winter are internationally touring musicians in the mythic-Celtic vein. Festival favorites, they have played main stages at several mythic and pagan festivals across the United States and Europe. Their penchant for combining fierce and gutsy bravado with ethereal beauty, a hearty dose of fantastical lyrics, and an obvious love of storytelling has inspired their own style, “Neofolk Romantique”. This often sounds less Celtic and more “Folktales that ran away with the Faeries at the turn of the century and took cover in an old trunk bound for the circus, which was then commandeered by pirates.” This suits them fine.

You don’t want to miss this!
Remember this is a Feast, so bring a dish and drinks to share for potluck feast.
An additional note, as with many Beltane type rituals, this one is fun-loving and yes, a bit saucy in innuendo! But nothing explicit and as such is family friendly for kids who are used to Pagan type gatherings. Kids of course are invited for free, as long as accompanied by an adult!http://thegreenmanstore.com/2015/03/belten...green-man-2016/
